OUR CHURCH’S WEBSITE

www.firstchurchsouthington.org is our church’s website.  There is wealth of information about our church on our website, from weekly sermons and bulletins to monthly newsletters, from our church’s history to descriptions of our mission work (and links to some great mission organizations with whom we work), from bios of our staff members to special events, from links to denominational websites to info about our programs for children and youth, and SO much more!  Be sure to spend some time exploring our website.  An increasing number of people are visiting and joining our church because of initial visits to our website.  In fact, 2 newcomers say they started attending church only after reading sermons and other materials on our church website for months.  Our website was started several years ago when Sally Madeira donated the funds for it and set us up on HOSTWAY.COM (Sally still funds our website each year – thank you SO much, Sally).  Much of our early website design work was done by Sam Hendrickson.  Later, Lisa Cote, Brian Bradshaw and others joined him.  More recently, the bulk of our website design and maintenance is done by our church’s Technology Coordinator, Steve DeVito, who does a wonderful, dedicated job.  Currently he is working with groups and committees in our church to post their programs and activities on our website.  Steve is always looking for ideas, suggestions and assistance.  If anyone has ideas or wishes to help Steve, please see him at a T.G.I.
