Prayer of General Confession (Unison)
God of mercy, your thoughts are not our thoughts and your ways are not our ways. We confess we have wandered far from the path of integrity, justice and peace. We are quick to judge others and then excuse ourselves. We want to decide who is acceptable to you and who is not. We want to be the judge of what is right and wrong. Forgive our narrow and judgmental ways. Open a place of compassion in our hard heartedness and help us to grow in your image. Amen.
